Upgrading Video Recording Unit Project
Upgrading, data transfer, and back up project of video recording unit begins. Video input adapter - Hi-Speed USB - External and Video Pad Editor options. Transfer all recording, editing and rendering options to Power Point / Sunday Plus (praise lyrics software) machine. It will be one machine to handle visual aid software. We should keep the legacy machine as a foundation to learn how to stream content live
Step 1: Get current disc producer software:

1. What operating systems does the Epson Disc producer work with?
The Epson Discproducer works with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Server 2008/2008 R2/2003/2003 R2. To download the latest Total Disc Maker software visit http://www.EpsonExpert.com
2. Converting video to DVD / Audio using 123 Copy DVD Platinum
Taking a mpg file about 1 hour recorded takes 40 minutes to render into a DVD video
Taking a mpg video and extract the audio as a mp3 audio takes ? minutes to process
3. Sermons Series or 1 sermon with music
Lets see if the past sermon series January or February can be placed on 1 DVD for each month. There have been request of the music too, but recently started to place music with the sermons. More music on the DVDs, less room for the sermons. So, must create different versions with either all the series per month on one DVDs or 1 Sermon per 1 DVD with music

Video stream sermons and outline answers
Can you post the entire outlines or video of Sunday Sermons? They are too good to miss or to be able to go back and see again.
There are ways to upload video or +Inglewood Southside Christian Church can choose to video stream Sunday Morning Sermons. Each has its own issues.
If we choose to upload a video, the power point outlines must be spliced into the sermon video which requires
to go back to re-capture the power point answers. Once the sermon and
outlines are placed in the proper sequence, the video must be rendered
to create another video which takes 2 hours with the current working 5
year old technology we have. Once the rendered video is complete, then
it will take time to upload which may required another 1 or 2 hours to
do.
If
we choose to video stream a sermon, we need first a dedicated wired
internet cable that can supply the computers we use. The wireless Wifi N
technology and repeaters currently in place cannot get a strong enough
signal to where we have the computers. The wireless signal has to go
through two walls and because anyone / everyone who has knowledge of the
church wireless access point, folks use it and the signal degrades even
more. When streaming sermon content, you must factor in the video
input quality as well as the audio quality.

VPN Between Cisco and Netgear routers
How to get a VPN working between a Cisco RVS4000 and Netgear FVS318v3
The key setting that had to be changed was under the VPN settings under the IKE Policies under general Exchange Mode had to be Main Mode The IKE SA Parameters had to match too between the Encryption and Authentication Algorithm using the pre-shared key method.
I got this message in the log and found this article

Possible FREE product to implement for upgrading computer lab software
The Internet puts the world at your child’s fingertips and gives them the opportunity to explore, discover, and grow (plus have some fun along the way).
Although the Internet is a fabulous resource, it simply wasn’t built with kids in mind. Even with the best of intentions, children are still able to stumble across something inappropriate that you may be stuck trying to explain.
Perhaps your son loves watching YouTube videos but you’re concerned about the other videos that he may see. Or maybe your daughter adores online games but you don’t want her chatting with strangers while she’s playing those games. This is where KidZui comes in.

Completely Free
The K2 browser is now completely FREE to download and use, providing a safe web experience to all kids.

Newer laptops will not work with older equipment plug-ins. For example, the S-Video 4 prong plug in is no longer available on laptops with i3, i5, i7 CPU.

disable / enabled control and regedit
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274849/en-us
I finally figure out how to get my control panel back.
I used a software called TweakUI which meant I could change some things on the Explorer interface. Knowing how to modify the registry of Windows systems is something new to me which I need to explorer further if the time permits.
ops, double post
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
Value Name: NoControlPanel
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = disable restriction, 1 = enable restriction)
source:
http://www.pctools.com/guides/registry/detail/543/
using group policies
type gpedit.msc
source:
http://www.lockergnome.com/it/2006/03/16/disable-the-control-panel-2kxp2003/
There is a registry hack to enable or disable Windows NT TaskManager. The same registry hack applies to Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Name: DisableTaskMgr
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1=Enablethis key, that is DISABLE TaskManager
Value: 0=Disablethis key, that is Don't Disable, Enable TaskManager
As part of the enhanced management available in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, rather than risking a registry change, as an administrator you can enable or disable Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro's TaskManager using Group Policy Editor. This can be applied to the local policy. Note: if you are trying to override your organizations group policy, you can't. As soon as you re-authenticate to the domain, the domain or OU Group Policy will rewrite the registry setting. But if the TaskManager was accidently disabled or you need to control this item for a set of standalone boxes this is for you:
* Click Start
* Click Run
* Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK
* In the Group Policy settings window
o Select User Configuration
o Select Administrative Templates
o Select System
o Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
o Select Remove Task Manager
o Double-click the Remove Task Manager option
And as I mentioned above, since the policy is Remove Task Manager, by disabling the policy, you are enabling the Task Manager. I noticed the task manager was disabled on a computer I was working.
Got XP Home - use the registry edit.

Adding content to Joomla Page
Its pretty easy to add content on the Joomla pages, the hard part is remembering how to add a section for variety of sub groups in the church to add from. Today, I got the sign ministry with sub categories for SOME and Devotion to appear correctly on the church web site. I just need to document the steps to do so. Unless Joomla pages already have a section on adding content to their web pages.
1) Log into the Joomla administration page
2) Select Menus -> Top Menu
Note: The major Top Menu items are "HOME, ABOUT US, MINISTRIES, RESOURCES, CALENDAR, CONTACT US, GALLERY"
3) When you create an Article Layout, the Parent Items Details determines where menu selection will show on the front page.
4) Under Content, add or create an Article
5) Under Content, Add a section
6) Under Content, Add a category
7) Use Menu Item Manager to have a menu available on the front page
